The total width of the Zhonggan Temple is one room, and it consists in two main structures with an additional baiting (worship pavilion).
It has been the main center of faith for people in the Mt. Bagua region.
Lantian Academy sits on the west side and faces east, and belongs to the southern Fujian-style building.
The temple has been renovated three times to this day, and has a typical layout of two halls, two hallways, and two side wings.
The height is only 120 cm, the length and width are about 90 cm.
Despite its size, Dengying Academy has been the most complete structure .
