板橋迪毅堂は漳泉闘争の亡霊を祀る祠です。徐元帥を主として祀り、福徳正神と12人の勇士を配祀しています。徐元帥の本名は徐才（生没年不詳）で、板橋の林本源一族が雇っていた武術の師匠でした。清の咸豊9年（1859年）林本源一族の林国芳（1820-1862年）は漳州人を率い、地域対立した泉州人と武装闘争を繰り広げましたが、その過程で徐才と12人の勇士が命を落としました。彼らの遺体は林国芳によって埋葬され、その後、林家は出資して祠を建てて、徐才と12人の勇士を祀りました。 現在の迪毅堂の建物は、日本統治時代の大正14年（1925年）に劉嘉輝（生没年不詳）が改修を呼びかけたものです。その時、徐才は神像として造られ、徐元帥と呼ばれるようになりました。主体となる建物の配置は三開間単落（一の字の形をした構造）です。普段は参拝者は少なく薄暗い室内がいっそう寂しさを感じさせます。主な祭典には毎年旧暦7月26日の徐元帥の生誕祭があり、その日に迪毅堂前で普度が行われます。
